Playing in the snow

The girls and us played in the snow amazingly this winter. There wasn't a lot of it and it was wet snow but at least we had fun. We made snow angels and had a snow ball fight. The snow was to wet to make a snowman though. We never got to go sledding this winter due to the lack of snow.

Rollar skating

Grace and Alexis got to go rollerskating for the first time with Grace's school. Both girls had a great time and Grace did pretty well on her feet.

New bedrooms

Grace and Alexis got to pick out new bedroom furniture. That was fun letting them run around the store picking what they wanted! The girls both picked out 2 different but cute sets. They look good in their rooms.

New Year 2012

We spent New Year in Pennsylvania. Grace and Alexis helped get set up for the party. Unfortunately Grace and Alexis was sick, and Grace had to go to urgent care on New Year Eve! The girls were going strong and Lexi stopped at 11;30pm and wanted to go to sleep. Grace made it to see the ball drop. The next day we went bowling and the girls split a game since they still weren't feeling good. Grace even throw up all over the bowling alley! Even though the girls were under the weather we still had a great time!

Christmas in Pa 2011

We also went to Pa to visit Gramps and Nana for Christmas. We had a great time visiting, however both girls got sick. The girls got more toys. Grace got a jewelry box which shes loves and a necklace she wears all the time and Alexis got a hello kitty necklace she wears all the timer! They also got new clothes that they couldn't wait to wear.

Christmas Day 2011

I was actually the first one awake on Christmas, it was strange. I got up let the dogs out and woke up Dave then we woke up the kids! We had a wonderful Christmas. We had Dave's family over for the day. The house was full and lots of fun. The girls got spoiled like always. They couldn't wait to play with all of their toys!

Christmas Eve

Christmas eve was spent with my side of the family. We had all kinds of food like always! Uncle Jeff and Dave were glued to the TV and the computer checking their fantasy football game scores! Uncle Jeff got the girls scooters for Christmas and since it wasn't to cold the girls even tried them out outside. The girls helped hand out gifts to everyone. After we went to church and both girls did really well. Grace even told Grandma D. that "Christmas doesn't come from a store". (So proud of my little girl.) Then we drove around and looked at lights. When we got home we put out cookies and "pink" (strawberry) and chocolate milk for Santa since they couldn't decide. Then Daddy surprised the girls with new hello kitty pj's and read them Twas the Night Before Christmas. Both girls went to sleep without a problem! It was a wonderful day.
